As Early As Possible Before Party

Create a Discord account: https://events.gamesync.gg/discord

Join the GameSync Discord server: https://discord.gg/gamesync

Register with us (for younger children, parent registers their child): https://events.gamesync.gg/register

If you have any technical support needs, be sure to let us know in the registration form so that a support session can be scheduled.

Day Before Party

Log back on to our Discord server. You should have received a Direct Message (DM) from us inviting you to a private voice+video chat lobby specific to your event.

Verify you can access your private voice+chat lobby. Send a test message or just look around to familiarize yourself.

Test your microphone by going to User Settings > Voice & Video. Under the input & output volume sliders, you’ll see a mic test feature.

Test your camera by scrolling down on the same page to Video Settings

Party Day!

Our goal is to ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience, so it’s critical that all onboarding steps be taken well in advance of the day of your event. Now, on to the fun stuff!

Join the private voice+chat lobby for your event.

Your party host will be in the voice lobby. Feel free to say hi!

Open the game you’ll be playing on the platform of your choice (PC, console, mobile).

We’ll be taking a group picture with all the participants at the start of the party. Make sure you join early or on time so you don’t miss out!

How does a party work if the players only have PC computers?

You can have a PC-only gaming event. The only requirement is that whatever game is being played is installed and updated on every computer that will be joining the party. (Note: this scenario is especially good for Minecraft parties!).
